Cheque Management Module
Yarn Management System
About Module
Cheque management module deals with all kinds of bank related transactions. Its very useful for users whose day-to-day dealing requires cheques which also includes PDC.
Bank Account Management
Bank accounts with their bank details can be added into the system using the
bank account
management screen.
The screen ensures that all the relevant details are added while adding the
account.
Users can add multiple accounts against a single bank along with their cheque
book details.
Cheque Book Management
Cheque book management module is designed to equip the user with the ability
to manage the
cheque books of all the banks the business is dealing with.
This module will keep track of when the first and last cheque was issued from
the cheque
book. The active cheque book will automatically designate a cheque number to the
bank payment
voucher being issued, helping to efficiently keep track of all the cheques
issued and discarded
during the lifecycle of a cheque book.
Post-Dated Cheque Management
Post-dated cheque management is made to equip the user with the ability to
manage cheques
which are to be encashed and paid in future dates but are booked at dates well
before their payment
dates. This will help the user to better manage their cash flow and avoid delays
in revenue
realisations.
The user will be provided with a separate screen listing all the issued and
received
post-dated cheques with the option to encash them at or before the designated
date, which then will
post the proper financial effect of the cheque. However, the system will also
provide the user with
the ability to see the ledger reports of parties with or without the effects of
post-dated cheques
reflected. The user will also be able to mange the cancelled or bounced cheques
and keep a track of
them.
These post-dated cheques are reflected in the PDC Payables and PDC
receivables once the user
adds them in the voucher.
The user can verify the cheque transaction once the money is withdrawn from
the
account
The user also has an option to Cancel cheque incase of bounce
scenarios
